FREE TO LEADERSHIP ALUMNI, CONNECTORS & COLLABORATIVE MEMBERS
Given the divisive behavior in the national news, and LEADERSHIP’s ability to create a safe space to connect, we are focusing our 60th Anniversary Celebration on conversations that count. LEADERSHIP has already convened a Master Class on Empathy and a Master Class on Connection.
Next up in the Series:
A MASTER CLASS ON COMPASSION Led by Liz Dow and featuring Teya Sepinuck and Altovise Love-Craighead.
October 2, 2018
2pm to 5:30pm
World Cafe Live
Please join us! This event is free to you thanks to generous underwriting by the NEH, PA Humanity Council, Knight Foundation and McKinsey, and the LEADERSHIP Board. (Sorry, no guests.)
Teya Sepinuck is a visionary artist who has worked at the intersections of art/social change/spirituality/education and peacemaking in creating and producing Theatre of Witness for the past 30 years. Drawing on her dance and counseling backgrounds, she founded this unique form of performance that has tapped the deepest stories from people whose stories had never been heard before, transforming them into powerful and raw theater productions.
We will watch one of Teya’s productions, Walk in My Shoes, and hold table discussions afterwards, followed by a reception.
Offered through the generous support of The Knight Foundation, The National Endowment for the Humanities, the Pennsylvania Humanities Council and the Board of Directors of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia.
